After few weeks of testing original Diamond configuration, NR770HNMO Dualband Mobile Antenna is too tall compared to Tesla Model 3 and I ordered shorter version: Diamond NR72BNMO Dualband Mobile Antenna as you can see from photos, it’s way better from aerodynamic point of view
Very cool. What’s your operating experience been? Any glitches in the car itself? Or obnoxious noise in the radio? I’ve been kind of afraid to install a mobile rig in my MS because of the possibility of damaging the electronics somehow.

I’m using a radio contained in ammo box which has an external battery to manage 50W peak if needed, so I don’t really get a lot of noise on radio.

I’m starting to research getting VHF in my M3. The Diamond antenna is on my list. WHAT MOUNT DID YOU USE for the antenna?
